Unbilled work check
Type in your usual payment terms and up to six finished jobs, and see what is actually sitting unbilled, how old it is, and which one to invoice first. Updates live as you type. No signup, nothing saved, nothing sent anywhere.

Unbilled work check calculator
Add at least one job’s amount and finish date to see your unbilled total.
Weighted by each job’s amount, not a plain average of the days — a pile of small old jobs can’t flatter the number this way.
This only counts the delay you controlled by not invoicing sooner. It can’t know whether the client then pays on your stated terms — that’s a separate risk this tool doesn’t model.

Why this is weighted by money, not just by days
A plain average of "days unbilled" across six jobs treats a $40 job and a $4,000 job as equally important, which is not how the risk actually sits. Weighting the average lag by each job’s amount means the number moves with where your real money is — a pile of small old jobs can’t drag the picture toward "not that bad" the way a plain average would let them.
What the two payment dates are actually showing
"Paid by, if invoiced today" takes today’s date and adds your payment terms — the earliest realistic date if you send the invoice right now. "Paid by, if invoiced on completion" takes the job’s finish date and adds the same terms — where that invoice would already be if you’d sent it the day the work finished. The gap between the two is the delay you personally added by not invoicing sooner; it has nothing to do with whether the client pays late once the invoice is actually sent.
This calculator only totals what you already know about. For the habit that stops the pile rebuilding — one weekly slot, one list, three states a job can be in — read catching up on your invoicing.
Want this list built for you, not typed in by hand?
BizBinder doesn’t chase the missing detail for you, and it doesn’t decide your billing cycle. What it does is put every job marked done with no invoice yet on one list on the page you land on — so the pile above is a real list waiting for you, not something you have to reconstruct from memory every time you want to check it.
You are on the list.
