Why a day can look fine and still not fit
A morning feels fine right up until the travel between jobs and the time each one actually takes on site get added up on paper instead of guessed at. This tool runs that addition for you, job by job, using nothing but the start time, the finish time, and the minutes you type in for each job — no market average travel time, no typical job length, anywhere on the page.
What the buffer is for
The buffer is the slack between one job finishing and the next one starting — packing up, the drive, parking, the walk to the door. Fifteen minutes is a starting point, not a rule; a trade that drives further between jobs should set it higher, and a trade working one street at a time can set it lower.
