Time off check
Type in what you must clear in a year, the weeks you want off, and the weeks you already do not work. See your billable weeks, the line per billable week, and what the time off actually costs. Updates live as you type. No signup, nothing saved, nothing sent anywhere.
Runs entirely in your browser — the client names and amounts you type here are never sent to us, never stored on our side, and gone when you close the tab. Why we can say that →
Time off check calculator
Your own draw, plus your fixed business costs.
Bank holidays, illness, or training already lost.
Add what you must clear in a year to see your billable weeks and the cost of the time off.
These weeks add up to 52 or more, so there are no billable weeks left. Reduce the weeks off or the weeks already not worked.
52, minus the weeks off and the weeks already not worked.
What you must clear in a year, divided by your billable weeks.
The weeks off, at the line per billable week.
The cost of the time off, minus what you have already set aside, spread across your billable weeks.
This only totals the numbers you typed in. It does not know your trade, your season, or which weeks are already booked — pick the actual dates from your own diary, not from this calculator.

Why the line per billable week, not the 52-week average
A price built on 52 weeks is quietly wrong for anyone who does not work all 52 — it hides the cost of every week off inside the weeks that are left. Dividing by your actual billable weeks puts that cost back into the number you can see and plan against.
Why the affordability check is separate
The line per billable week tells you what the year needs. The affordability figures, once you type an average invoiced week, tell you whether your actual invoicing gets there — two different questions, not the same total read twice.
This calculator only totals what you already know. For picking the dates, telling clients, and deciding what happens to an emergency call — read taking time off.
Want to see which weeks already hold work?
BizBinder does not know your holiday plans and has no away or out-of-office setting — that read stays yours. What it does is run reminders, scheduled sends, and recurring invoices from its own server-side timer, so they keep going while you are away, and sort your jobs into a week view so you can see which weeks already hold booked work before you pick your dates.
