Client value check

Type in what a client paid you over a period, the hours you never billed, and how late they pay, and see the real hourly rate that client pays against your own target. Updates live as you type. No signup, nothing saved, nothing sent anywhere.

Runs entirely in your browser — the client names and amounts you type here are never sent to us, never stored on our side, and gone when you close the tab. Why we can say that

How this differs from the job profit check

Job profit check scores one finished job: the price, the direct costs, and the hours that one job took. This tool scores one client across many jobs, over a period you choose — a week, a quarter, or the whole time you have worked together. A single job can look fine on its own and still sit inside a client relationship that is quietly running thin once every unbilled call and every absorbed cost is added up.

Where the unbilled-hours figure comes from

Quoting and revisits, calls and messages, and time spent chasing payment rarely get added up anywhere else, because none of them reach an invoice on their own. This tool only handles the hours and costs you type in for one client — it does not track them for you automatically.

Once you know a client's real rate, is this client worth keeping? covers what to do about it — reprice, restrict, re-scope, or release, in that order — and turning work down has the words for the conversation itself.

Want a client's whole story, without digging through invoices?

BizBinder won't run this math for you — you still do the review. What it does is merge one client's jobs, invoices, and notes into a single timeline, so pulling up what you invoiced and what got paid takes one page load, not a search through old paperwork.
