Callback profit check

Type in what the original job charged and cost, then what the return visit takes — travel, time on site, and any parts — and see the callback as a share of that job’s profit, not just its share of the price. Updates live as you type. No signup, nothing saved, nothing sent anywhere.

Runs entirely in your browser — the client names and amounts you type here are never sent to us, never stored on our side, and gone when you close the tab. Why we can say that

The original job, and this return visit

Materials, subcontractors, and anything else that job itself cost you.

In hours.

In hours.

Across every visit, not per visit.

Why the share of profit, not the share of the price

A callback that costs ten percent of the original price sounds minor. Measured against that job’s profit instead, the same visit can be a third of it or more — because a callback comes out of the job’s margin, not the invoice total, and the margin is usually the smaller number to start with. This tool runs that arithmetic on your own figures, so “a quick twenty minutes” has an actual size before you write it off.

A cost that lands after the job is closed

Every other price on this site gets built before the work starts. A callback is the opposite — it’s a cost that shows up after the job was already priced, invoiced, and paid, so there’s no line item left to absorb it. The faultless-jobs figure above shows what that actually means: how many more jobs at the same margin it takes just to make up what one return visit cost.

Want the original job on hand for this?

BizBinder doesn’t track your guarantee period or flag a callback for you — that call is still yours to make. What it does is keep the original job’s price, materials, and invoice together, so the numbers above come from the real job record, not a guess.
